The King Rebellion have traded goaltender Owen Edwards to the Haliburton County Huskies in exchange for goaltender Logan Kennedy.
Kennedy spent last season in the BCHL, splitting time between the Coquitlam Express and the Sherwood Park Crusaders. The last time he played in the OJHL was during the 2023–24 season with the Huskies, where he posted an 11–7 record with a 2.56 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage. He was originally drafted by the Flint Firebirds in the 11th round of the 2022 OHL Priority Selection.
